The military institution announced on its official Telegram channel that 15 drones were shot down over the Bryansk province, 11 over the Volgograd province, seven over the Rostov province, five over the Krasnodar province, and two over each of the Belgorod and Voronezh provinces.
The Defense Ministry’s release adds that two drones were also shot down over the Sea of Azov and the same number over the Peninsula of Crimea.
The national air transport agency, Rosaviatsia, previously informed that temporary restrictions have been imposed at the Volgograd Airport in the last day to ensure passenger safety.
Since the beginning of the special military operation on February 24, 2022, drone attacks launched from Ukraine on military and civilian targets in the Russian rear have become routine.
