According to the Ministry of Defense’s official Telegram channel this Sunday, the Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the Bryansk, Tver, Kaluga, Oryol, Tambov, Novgorod, Belgorod, Rostov, Kursk, Smolensk, Samara, Leningrad, Crimea, and Tatarstan regions.
For his part, the governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, stated that fragments of a Ukrainian drone intercepted over the Russian port of Ust-Luga, on the Baltic Sea, caused a fire at a Novatek gas terminal.
Meanwhile, his counterpart in the Samara Region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, reported on Telegram a Ukrainian drone attack on an industrial company in the city of Syzran.
According to preliminary data from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, there were no casualties in these incidents.
The national air transport agency, Rosaviatsia, previously reported temporary closures of the airports in Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Samara, Volgograd, Saratov, Izhevsk, Kaluga, Kirov, Kazan, Penza, Ulyanovsk, and Pskov in the last day for security reasons.
