The president described the new role for his nation as a milestone, which he underscored it reinforces the Maldives’ continued dedication to defend the principles of justice, equality, and human dignity, in line with the country’s strong commitment as an active member of the UNHRC.
Muizzu reiterated the Maldives’ determination to work toward a fairer and more inclusive world for all.
