Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Yamahi denounced in a statement Tuesday’s army attack on Ramallah and Hebron cities, as well as the aggressions committed by Israeli settlers against the territory’s Arab population.

Al-Yamahi underscored that such violations are a continuation of “the war of genocide and the policy of systematic famine and displacement conducted by the occupation in the Gaza Strip.”

The top figure in the regional legislature noted that these actions represent a flagrant defiance of international and humanitarian laws and regulations, as well as a complete disregard for the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions on the subject.

Given this situation, the official called on the world to assume its legal, humanitarian, and moral responsibilities to confront “the arrogance and haughtiness of the occupation.”

Al-Yamahi stressed that practical and immediate measures are needed to end these crimes of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people, providing them with urgent international protection.
