According to a decree of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining, gasoline prices will go down 0.52 pesos, while diesel, in its two types, will increase 2.06 pesos. Supergas increases by 7.69 pesos per kilo. The 13 kilogram carafe goes from 1,050 pesos to 1,150 pesos, which means that the reduction of 100 pesos previously decided by the government has vanished.
Thus, Super 95 naphtha goes from 78.72 to 78.20 pesos. Premiun from 81.13 to 80.61.
Gasoline 50 S rose from 48.08 to 50.14 pesos, and 10 S from 55.08 to 57.14 pesos.
Supergas, which is widely used in households, rose from 80.77 pesos to 88.46 pesos (+7.69 pesos).
At the current exchange rate a US dollar sells for around 38.80 Uruguayan pesos, according to the Banco de la República’s reference board.
The last adjustment in fuel prices was in July and since then the government announced that it will be adjusted every two months.
