In Pedernales, the President will inaugurate Cabo Rojo wastewater treatment plant, located in the southwest of the province.
Later, he will inaugurate a substation project in Pedernales, the expansion of the Juancho-Los Cocos substation, as well as the installation of transformers and the installation of networks to interconnect Pedernales with the national electricity grid.
Later, he will attend the opening of the campus of the Catholic Technological University of Barahona, and in that province, he will also open the Juan Ramon Perez Elementary School, in the municipality of Enriquillo, and La Cienaga polytechnic school.
In the afternoon, the president will have lunch with high school and college students and young entrepreneurs.
He will then lead the graduation ceremony for 1,200 young people from the 14/24 Program and conclude his agenda with the inauguration of Batey Central police station.
Opportunity 14/24 is a program coordinated by the Social Policy Cabinet, which seeks to promote the socioeconomic inclusion of young people between the ages of 14 and 24 who are disconnected from the education system and/or the labor market and who belong to vulnerable households.
