The diplomatic institution emphasized that the goal is for concrete proposals to emerge from Riohacha to guide inclusive, human rights-based public policies, reinforcing the role of migration as an engine of growth, innovation, and social cohesion.
The 15th Summit of the Global Forum on Migration and Development is a voluntary, informal, and non-binding process that brings together all States Members and Observers of the United Nations, as well as 63 organizations.
