In a monthly report on “Violations of the Occupation and Colonial Expansion Measures,” the head of the Wall and Settlements Resistance Commission, Muayyad Shaaban, reported that Israeli troops carried out 1,182 attacks during that period and settlers the remainder, with the majority of them concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah (321), Nablus (274), and Hebron (220).
The Palestinian official warned of the increase in Israeli crimes, citing demolitions of structures, confiscation of property, vandalism, obstruction of movement, murder, physical assault, and theft.
Shaaban criticized the establishment of 18 outposts in the territory, which are the seeds of future Jewish settlements.
During that month, 57 demolition operations were carried out against 125 Palestinian structures, including 39 inhabited homes, 52 agricultural facilities, and 22 livelihood centers, he explained.
More than 750,000 Jewish settlers currently live in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, spread across some 180 settlements and 256 outposts, according to official data.
The international community rejects this expansionist policy and considers this territory part of the future Palestinian State, as the International Court of Justice stated on July 19, 2024, when it declared the occupation of the West Bank illegal and demanded an end to the settlements and the evacuation of the settlers.
