Following official talks between Diaz-Canel and his host counterpart, Xi Jinping, both delegations announced that the agreements cover issues related to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), political consultations, practical cooperation, cultural exchanges, and the Global Security Initiative (GSI).
Commitments related to agricultural cooperation, territorial cooperation, artificial intelligence (AI), traditional Chinese medicine, infrastructure, and other areas related to the press, cinema, and television were also signed.
The presidents of Cuba and China extoled the special nature of the bilateral ties, which have reached 65 years.
