Time flies and the call for entries closes soon, the publishing house reminded its followers on social networks, since the deadline for entries is September 30.

The Golden Age contest is a traditional event of the publishing house specialized in children’s literature and therefore the works submitted must be aimed at these audiences.

The call, open to all Cuban writers, covers the following genres: historical/biographical stories, scientific and technical popularization, fantasy literature, science fiction and detective stories, whose works, always unpublished, must be sent only in digital format.

Gente Nueva pointed out that the works must be submitted under a pseudonym and the author’s data must be included in a second document containing the title of the work, name of the contestant, corresponding pseudonym, identity card number, home address, contact telephone number and a biographical summary.

The specific requirements for the contestants and their works, the award system and the mailing address are available on the publisher’s channel on the social network Telegram (Editorial Gente Nueva).
