The exhibition constitutes a dialogue with the historical heritage of knowledge and its specific forms of transmission, says a note from the prestigious Cuban cultural institution.
According to the text, the spectator will be challenged to analyze certain procedures in which the knowledge accumulated by man has reached us; in particular, the way we know and the errors or failures that can occur historically in the transmission of knowledge.
The exhibition includes five installations and two photographic series, through which the public will be able to approach a peculiar artistic perspective.
According to the creator himself, his artistic proposal explores the role of science as a tool for discernment, but also its difficulties in providing the total welfare of man.
A graduate of the Instituto Superior de Arte and co-founder of the chair of New Media at that university, Margolles has a mature career in visual creation, with more than 25 years of experience.
