According to a post published this Sunday by the military agency on its official Telegram channel, “units of the Eastern Troop Group stormed the settlement of Khoroshee in the Dniepropetrovsk region after offensive actions.”
The Ministry of Defense estimated the Ukrainian Army suffered around 1,090 casualties in the last day, a third of which (460) were a result of operations by the Central Troop Group.
Additionally, the Southern Troop Group inflicted 265 casualties on the enemy; the Western Troop Group, 230; the Eastern Troop Group, 200; the Northern Troop Group, 175; and the Dnieper group, 60.
Military losses on the Ukrainian side in the last day include three tanks, 16 armored vehicles, 18 artillery pieces, 67 military vehicles, 16 electronic warfare stations, 18 ammunition, materiel, and fuel depots, two air defense radars, and 210 drones.
On August 30, Chief of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov stated that the troops maintain the strategic initiative and will continue their offensive operations.
