Israel is stained with the blood of innocents, says Jordan

Amman, Sep 12 (Prensa Latina) Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, denounced that the Israeli government continues to implement a systematic policy of aggression and rape, spreading chaos and instability throughout the Middle East.

According to the official agency Petra, this position of the Hashemite Kingdom was expressed by the Foreign Minister during an emergency session of the highest security body of the United Nations, convened to address the recent Israeli attack on Doha, the capital of Qatar.

The head of the Jordanian diplomacy launched harsh criticism against Tel Aviv, accusing it of acting with total impunity.

The Israeli government is a criminal regime, stained with the blood of the innocent, rooted in extremism and hatred.

It disregard international law and makes fun of humanitarian values, he said.

Safadi further said that Israel acts as if it is above the law, using brutality to impose a racist ideology and achieve expansionist goals that threaten peace and security in the region and the world.

Condemned in categorical terms the airstrike carried out last Tuesday by Israeli forces against residential buildings in Doha, and described it as “a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar and international law.

The Jordanian FM stressed that this aggression constitutes “a betrayal against a state which has played a key role in diplomatic efforts to achieve a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and restore the political path towards peace.

In his speech, Safadi also denounced the growing occupation of Syrian territories by Israel, its destabilizing role in Syria and Lebanon, as well as its persistent policy of collective punishment against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Israel is occupying more Syrian territory, fomenting conflict to plunge Syria into chaos, undermining the stability of Lebanon, and now launches a cowardly attack on Qatar.

All this confirms that we are dealing with a deliberate regional aggression, which endangers collective security, he warned.

The Security Council has not yet issued a resolution on the incident, although several delegations have called for an immediate response to what they describe as an unprecedented escalation.
