Body: Before a crowd, the Indian head of government emphasized that India is moving forward in a spirit of global brotherhood and has no major enemies in the world today, but in reality, its greatest adversary is its dependence on other nations, which, he said, must be defeated collectively.
He reiterated that greater foreign dependence leads to greater national failure, and therefore, he said, for global peace, stability, and prosperity, the world’s most populous country must be self-sufficient.
Modi also warned that the future of the country’s population, the new generations, and the determination for national development cannot be left in foreign hands.
He declared that the solution lies in advancing the mission of achieving a developed country by 2047 and that, to achieve this, India must face challenges, reduce external dependence, and demonstrate true self-sufficiency.
He also mentioned the start of the auspicious Navratri festival, an important Hindu religious holiday, and with it the beginning of a new tax reduction policy in the country to promote domestic production.
