The diplomat deemed it necessary to present specific strengths, experiences, and achievements in areas such as vaccine production, digital and educational capabilities, agricultural practices, and the culture of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The foreign minister proposed exchanging initiatives in sectors of climate action and justice, analyzing the potential of future technologies, especially artificial intelligence (AI), and reforming the United Nations and multilateralism as a whole.
The Indian top diplomat stated in his speech that the rights and expectations of developing countries in the international system, which has been so carefully constructed over many decades, are now being called into question.
Jaishankar pointed out that the meeting is taking place in times of growing uncertainty, in which the global situation is of increasing concern to member States.
