On his Telegram account, the president commemorated the two decades since the emergence of CEOFANB on this day, thanks to the vision of Commander Chavez, “an institution that marked a turning point in Venezuelan military doctrine,” he emphasized.

He instilled in us, he said, the conviction that only through unwavering loyalty and commitment can our homeland be safeguarded.

Maduro noted that “today we have a cohesive military force with full deployment capacity to preserve peace, stability, integration, and sovereignty.”

He emphasized that, in perfect symbiosis with the Territorial Defense System, the Armed Forces remain vigilant, ready to protect every corner of Venezuela.

“Therefore, today, September 26, we honor the men and women of the Ceofanb,” he remarked.

The head of state acknowledged that their bravery is the shield of the constitution, the foundation of sovereignty, and the guarantee of our right to live in peace.

In a statement this Friday, Venezuelan Defense Minister General Vladimir Padrino described the Ceofanb as “one of the most transcendental achievements of Bolivarian Military Thought and the holistic vision of Supreme Commander Hugo Chavez.”
