The artist Prensa Latina that it is an honor to perform in Cuba and that the recital “is going to be very beautiful, because for the first time I’m going to meet an audience that’s waiting for me.”

“I’ll also try to sing the songs I have in decima format to frame the concert within the festival, which has made the venue possible,” he added.

According to the event program, this Sunday, at Pabellon Cuba, there will be a presentation of a documentary and the books Musa 66, Editorial “Pimienta ediciones,” by Rodolfo Romero, and La magia de la redondilla, by Silvio Castineira.

Since its inauguration on September 25th, the festival has gained prestige with various initiatives and the talent of leading exponents of Cuban improvisation.

Sharing the stage are 30 artists from different provinces and guests from seven nations, including Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Chile, and Spain. The IV Oralitura Habana Poetic Improvisation Meeting is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Controversy of the Century, the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Experimental Chair of Improvised Poetry.

Also, to the 50th anniversary of the death of Francisco Riveron, and the 95th anniversary of the birth of singer Inocente Iznaga, El Jilguero de Cienfuegos.
