“The proposed initiative on global governance undoubtedly coincides with our firm conviction that states should interact on the basis of the principles of exclusive equality and justice,” reads the Belarusian leader’s message, published Wednesday by the Belarusian presidential press service.
“We are ready to work together to address common challenges, improve well-being, and ensure the prosperity of our peoples,” Lukashenko emphasized, noting that, under Xi’s leadership, China has set an impressive example of dynamic and sustainable development, reaching historic highs in all areas year after year.
China’s successes in economic development, technological progress, and strengthening global security inspire respect and admiration, he noted.
With a firm conviction to advance socialism with Chinese characteristics, Beijing plays a key role in shaping a multipolar world and international order, the Belarusian president affirmed.
The president emphasized that China is a unique and valuable model of a political system that integrates vast historical experience, material and spiritual resources, and promotes the country’s socioeconomic development.
The implementation of large-scale projects within the Belt and Road Initiative, the promotion of a Great Stone industrial zone, and the deepening of industrial cooperation and humanitarian exchanges demonstrate the enormous potential of relations between Minsk and Beijing, the president added.
