Laotian President to Pay Official Visit to DPRK

Pyongyang, Oct. 2 (Prensa Latina) Lao People's Democratic Republic President Thongloun Sisoulith will pay an official visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The central news agency ACNC reported that Sisoulith will arrive in Pyongyang at the invitation of DPRK Chairman of State Affairs Kim Jong Un.

Last Tuesday, Kim exchanged views with the Laotian leader on the state of bilateral relations and thanked his counterpart for the congratulations sent to Pyongyang on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK.
