“If we are talking about the 22 member countries that are members of the Arab League (AL), trade turnover in 2024 reached approximately 34 billion dollars, but there is a potential to reach 50 billion dollars and more,” Gorkov told Sputnik.

The official added that, despite payment restrictions, trade has grown between five percent and 10 percent over the last year.

He also noted that Russian products, including food, other items, and technology, are in growing demand in Arab markets.
