To achieve this target, the average number of foreign travelers in the last two months of the year must increase by 35 to 40 percent, estimated the National Bureau of Statistics in its report, “Some Key Features of the Socioeconomic Situation in October and the First 10 Months of 2025.”
The document considers this “a major challenge and requires the tourism sector to implement decisive and drastic solutions to attract tourists and achieve the established goals.”
According to the agency of the Ministry of Finance, the growth of international tourism in Vietnam is low.
In the first 10 months of this year, the number of international visitors increased by 21.5 percent compared to the same period last year, while in the same period of 2024, the increase was 41.3 percent.
In this regard, the Office deemed it necessary to “innovate in the content and methods of tourism promotion and advertising,” to seek innovative solutions, and to continually renew its products, focusing on thoroughly researching each market, especially new ones and those with lower levels of outflow.
