During the 21st edition of the festival, the renowned play by Federico Garcia Lorca will be performed by the Brazilian company Os Satyros, directed by Rodolfo Garcia.
From November 8 to 16, the Havana Theater Festival also includes workshops, keynote speeches, exhibitions, and performances for theater-goers.

In homage to the 100th birthday of renowned teacher and National Theater Prize winner Raquel Revuelta, the event celebrates women’s contributions at all levels and all professions related to theater.

The event promises more than 10 performances in 25 cultural centers, including the Hubert de Blanck, El Sotano, the National Museum of Fine Arts theaters, the Bertolt Brecht and Vicente Revuelta cultural centers, and the Teatro Nacional de Cuba.

Several international groups, including Teatro Ensayo Gestus (Ecuador), Inmanencia Teatro (Argentina), Andrayas (Switzerland), and Os Satyros, the Brazilian company that opened the festival, will participate in the festival.
