Israel is transferring its “patterns of destruction and repression” from Gaza Strip to the West Bank to send a political message: preventing any attempt to build a Palestinian national entity while deepening the colonial project, stated analyst Muhannad Mustafa.

Quoted by Al Jazeera, he affirmed that Israeli repression is no longer limited to the Palestinian military structure, but hat has been extended to the social, civil, and economic infrastructure of the territory.

This strategy seeks to dismantle Palestinian society and weaken any capacity for resistance, he emphasized.

Ibrahim Freihat, professor of International Conflict Studies at Doha Graduate Institute of Studies, also criticized the new military offensive against the northern West Bank.

He asserted that Benjamin Netanyahu’s government aims at preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Given this situation, he called for Palestinian unity and criticized the international community’s stance.
