According to local sources cited by the official SANA news agency, an Israeli force consisting of two vehicles, a Hilux pickup truck and a Hummer military vehicle, launched several smoke bombs at civilians while they were engaged in this agricultural activity in the aforementioned area.
The occupation forces carried out raids in several areas north and south of Quneitra, where they detained two young men for several hours before releasing them.
In another incident, an Israeli military force raided the town of Jamla, in the western part of Daraa province, where they deployed several military vehicles in different neighborhoods and arrested two young men.
Israeli forces conducted searches in several areas and subsequently withdrew.
Sources pointbout that the large military deployment in residential areas generated a climate of unease and fear among residents of both towns. These actions take place within a context of repeated Israeli aggression against Syrian territory.
Damascus continues to demand the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces and calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities, end occupation practices, and guarantee compliance with the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
