Moscow, Apr 9 (Prensa Latina) The Vostok-Akhmat battalion -subordinated to the Russian Defense Ministry- managed to thwart an attempted counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhie direcion, as reported by Chechen Republic head Ramzan Kadirov Sunday.
