According to the National Meteorological Service (SMN), tropical depression Five-E formed yesterday at 21:00 local time south of Chiapas and Guerrero, in Pacific waters, and at 03:00 this Tuesday has evolved into a tropical storm with the name of Erick.

The system, located approximately 335 km southwest of Puerto Chiapas, Chiapas, and 725 km southeast of Punta Maldonado, Guerrero, presents maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h, gusts of 85 and displacement towards the west-northwest at 19 km/h.
