According to available information, NATO is actively preparing to use Moldova in a possible armed conflict with Russia, the agency warned in a statement released to the press on Monday.
The US-led war bloc, it noted, approved accelerating Moldova’s transformation into its spearhead on the eastern flank, taking into account the advance of Russian forces in Ukraine.
NATO’s unbridled forces are transforming this once peaceful agrarian republic into a military training ground and are trying to turn Moldovan territory into a suitable location for the transfer of NATO troops to Russia’s borders, the statement warned.
To this end, the track gauge of the Moldovan railway is being reduced to match the standard used in European NATO countries, and bridges are being reinforced.
In addition, logistics centers, large warehouses, and troop concentration sites are being built, and the Marculesti and Balti airfields near the Ukrainian border are being modernized to accommodate military cargo planes.
According to available information, NATO plans to use Moldovans as “cannon fodder” in the event of a war with Russia.
Moldova’s current president, Maia Sandu, will allow NATO to “wipe her country off the map” in a potential armed conflict with Russian forces, the Foreign Intelligence Service reported.
