Leading the delegation was Dr. Ahmad Sani Araby Al-Kahery, Executive Director of the Consultative Council of the Islamic Organization of Malaysia, who described the mission as historic.
Among the volunteers are doctors, activists, artists, and ordinary Malaysians, united by a common purpose. “Our demands are simple: stop the war immediately and open the Rafah humanitarian corridor,” he declared.
Last week, Malaysia denounced the situation in Gaza as “the cruelest and most inhumane form of occupation” and assured that the country will continue to defend the rights of the Palestinian people.
The Malaysian government considers unacceptable the attempt to unilaterally and forcefully impose solutions that ignore the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and violate their freedom.
Similarly, it has repeatedly expressed its support for the two-state solution in the Middle East, as the only viable way to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region.
