Wu Jiangang, a member of the organizing committee, confirmed the attendance of representatives from Russia, the United States, France, Germany, Brazil, among other nations.
The event will be held until September 19 at the Beijing International Conference Center under the theme “Upholding International Order and Promoting Peaceful Development.”
The forum will include four plenary sessions, eight parallel panel discussions, and a high-level dialogue on major power relations and global security governance.
Wu emphasized that the forum will feature a more diverse and representative participation than in previous years, including countries affected by conflict.
Participants will visit the 2025 International Dual-Use Advanced Technology and Equipment Expo as part of the planned activities.
Cao Yanzhong, a researcher at the People’s Liberation Army (PLA)’s Academy of Military Sciences (AMS), highlighted the forum’s growing international influence on global security issues.
The Xiangshan Forum is consolidating its position as a key platform for constructive dialogue on peace and development within the international security landscape.
