Both presidents agreed to continue technical consultations on economic, trade, and security issues.

The Xiangshan Forum on military diplomacy, in which some 1,800 representatives from 100 countries, regions, and international organizations participated, was also held this week.

The forum included four plenary sessions and eight parallel meetings to discuss global security governance, strategic trust in the Asia-Pacific, and the evolving nature of warfare, among other issues.

The Beijing International Dual-Use Advanced Equipment and Technology Expo was held as a parallel activity, in which applications in artificial intelligence (AI), drones, and cybersecurity were showcased.
