The visit is linked to ICAIC’s efforts to continue recovering images from the entire Cuban cinema heritage, Triana noted.
I thank the organizing committee of the Third Novi Sad International Film Festival (NSFF) in Serbia for inviting me to attend its sessions and for signing a memorandum of collaboration for filmmaking with the second most important region in this country, the executive of this Cuban cultural institution commented.
The signed document implies the commitment of ICAIC and the NSFF to work together for the “co-production of audiovisual content related to art and industry, as well as collaboration to attract international investment.”
It also establishes “the active exchange of human resources such as actors, directors, production technicians, and students” and encourages participation in film festivals in the partner regions.
Triana thanked the Serbian authorities for displaying several posters of Cuban films produced by ICAIC in the City Hall gallery, as part of the World Cinema section.
