The official website of the Cuban presidency provided information on the session, which also included the updated proposal for the document, which was approved by the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) on September 22.
At the meeting, chaired by President Miguel Diaz-Canel and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, information was provided on the preparation and progress of the discussions with political and mass organizations, state structures, and the government.
Marrero argued that the objective is “to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the Government Program and the connections between the general and specific objectives and actions, as well as to define, in each situation, the role that corresponds to the specific implementation of the Program,” media outlets also cited.
The Prime Minister specified the scope of the 10 general objectives and said that the 39 specific objectives, along with their implementation schedules and actions for the months of September through December, had been updated.
The Council of Ministers session in Cuba focused on the analysis of the Economic Plan and the Execution of the State Budget through August 2025.
