The November edition of The Havana Reporter features recent developments related to global support against de blockade imposed by the United States for over 60 years and intensified by the Donald Trump administration.
In this regards, it includes details about the United Nations vote on the resolution “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba,” approved by 165 votes in favor, seven against and 12 abstentions, despite Washington’s pressures to reverse this annual condemnation of its arbitrary policies.
Other articles summarize the statements made at the world’s highest body in favor of the Caribbean nation and there cent celebration in Mexico of the IX Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, which was attended by more than 500 activists from Latin America and other parts of the world.
The present issue also includes a report on the III International Meeting of Theoretical Publications of Left Parties and Movements, held in Havana with the participation of academics, editors, media directors and members of parties and movements from different countries of the world.
