The African nation’s presence tallies with the historic political ties, friendship, and brotherhood between the two countries and their mutual desire to identify new areas for joint economic projects.
Chikomo’s delegation includes representatives from several ministries and institutions, including the Ministry of Land, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Rural Development, the Ministry of Information, Advertising, and Broadcasting, and the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Community, and Small and Medium Enterprise Development.

The Zimbabwean delegation will have a full agenda at FIHAV, with representatives from the Trade Promotion Agency and the biopharmaceutical company BPZ.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Minister Oscar Perez-Oliva stated that representatives from some 50 countries and the European Union (EU) have confirmed their attendance at FIHAV 2025, which includes the 8th Investment Forum and other high-level events.
