Hosted by the multinational channel office in this capital, the debate was held in the context of the 2025 United Nations Climate Summit agenda and began with an expert session entitled “The Potential of Replicating Successful Practices and Mechanisms from Russia’s First Climate Experiment to Achieve National Development Goals.”
The meeting was also organized by the United Nations Global Compact Network Russia and the Sakhalin Regional Administration.
Representatives from government agencies, leading Russian companies, and members of the expert community participated in the session.
The session focused on the results of the climate experiment in Sakhalin. The region’s Minister of Ecology and Sustainable Development, Andrey Samatov, noted that the region achieved carbon neutrality a year earlier.
TVBrics’ collaboration with the United Nations Global Compact Network Russia, formalized through an official agreement, aims to provide informational support to Russian companies in the areas of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development.
