“Solidarity is not giving what is left over, but sharing what you have,” affirmed the executive head of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) on his Telegram account.

Pena highlighted that, in an act of genuine brotherhood that characterizes the Latin American and Caribbean integration bloc, we bid farewell to the ALBA Ship on behalf of President Nicolas Maduro.

He pointed out that the vessel “sets sail for Cuba loaded with solidarity and concrete support,” carrying seven thousand 110.70 tons of vital supplies for the Cuban people.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Latin America stated that the vessel is carrying five thousand tons of urea for food production, 76 containers of food, and machinery for development, such as backhoes and trucks.

Additionally, more than one thousand five hundred tons of construction materials for vital works. He emphasized that this action reaffirms the unwavering principle of our Great Homeland.

In statements to the press, Pena announced that the total amount of supplies sent to Cuba exceeds twelve thousand tons, including food, household goods, mattresses, medicines, construction and electrical materials, toys, among others.
