Winter day in western and central Cuba

Havana, Jan 27 (Prensa Latina) Minimum temperatures between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius are experienced today by the inhabitants of western Cuba, with winds from north to northeast with speeds between 15 and 30 kilometers per hour, with higher gusts in northern coastal areas.

According to a report by the Cuban Institute of Meteorology (Insmet), which adds that maximum temperatures will be between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius in the western half, being lower in areas of the northern coast, in the rest of the country will be between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius, higher in inland localities.

The institution highlights that it will be partly cloudy in the west and center, clouding in areas of the north coast with some rains in the center and light showers in the west, there will be little cloud cover in the east.

In the afternoon it will be partly cloudy throughout the country, clouding in the interior and north coast of the central region with some rains, which will be scarce in the rest of the Cuban archipelago.

In its report the Insmet adds that there will be tidal waves on the north west coast with splashes on the Havana seawall.

It will be with little swell on both eastern coasts and swell in the rest of the coasts.
