The agency specified that numerous displacement camps remain overcrowded, while the situation in Hasakah province continues to be unstable, with reports of families fleeing from the south of the city toward the town of Shaddadi.
According to OCHA, the United Nations and its humanitarian partners are maintaining support for the emergency response in northeastern Syria, following the clashes of recent weeks.
In this context, a joint humanitarian convoy from several United Nations agencies arrived in the city of Qamishli from Damascus, carrying food, winter clothing, blankets, and other basic supplies.
More convoys are expected to arrive in the coming days. The UN office also warned of persistent power and internet outages in the town of Ain al-Arab (Kobani in Kurdish), although it confirmed that humanitarian partners continue to distribute food, bread, and cash assistance in collective shelters and settlements for displaced people.
