The meeting will take place before a lunch offered in honor of the visiting monarch at the Government Palace (Quemado).

Felipe VI will meet this Thursday morning at the Spanish diplomatic mission with Spanish business leaders and representatives of the Bolivian business community, marking the start of his program in this capital.

Afterward, the monarch will visit the National Museum of Ethnography and Folklore in La Paz, and is expected to depart for Spain at 17:00 hours (Bolivian time).

The Foreign Ministry stated that King Felipe VI’s presence in Bolivia will help prepare President Paz’s agenda for his trip to Europe.

The Bolivian Administration contextualizes King Felipe VI’s visit as part of a strategy aimed at restoring international trust, strengthening bilateral relations, and regaining influence in multilateral organizations.

King Felipe VI of Spain arrived in Bolivia on Wednesday after attending the inauguration ceremony of Chile’s new President, Jose Antonio Kast.
