Amha Hailegiorgis, Deputy Director General for Middle East, Asia, and Pacific Countries Affairs at the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry, highlighted the economic reforms implemented in Addis Ababa and invited Emirati investors to explore opportunities in key sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, renewable energy, tourism, and digital services.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chamber of Commerce, underscored Ethiopia’s strategic importance for trade and investment in East Africa and expressed his interest in expanding partnerships and business opportunities in the country.

Ethiopian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jemal Beker, stated that the growing strategic alliance between the two countries is generating greater market and investment opportunities for the private sector. He also urged Emirati investors to take advantage of the favorable local investment climate.

Meanwhile, UAE Ambassador to Addis Ababa, Rashed Abdulla Alshehhi, reaffirmed the strong bilateral relations and encouraged greater business and investment collaboration.
