This edition is specially dedicated to the centenary of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution and the 65th anniversary of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC); it also honors Russia and writers from various generations.

Fidel Castro’s legacy will be the focus of the panel “History and Relevance”, as well as the presentation of the book *Fidel: Educator of the Revolution*, which explores his thought and influence from historical and cultural perspectives.

The program also examines the relationship between Jose Marti and Fidel Castro through the discussion “Martí in Fidel Castro Ruz,” the presentation of *How Much of Marti Is in Fidel Castro*, and an analysis of collections dedicated to the works of Fidel and Raul Castro.

The Russian presence adds an international dimension to the fair, featuring panels on Russian culture and literature, presentations of works by Fyodor Dostoevsky, and an audiovisual showcase of Russian animation and cinema, among other activities.

For younger audiences, the Children’s Pavilion hosts book presentations, storytelling sessions, interactive games, contests, reading promotion, and artistic activities—a program designed to bring the literary world closer to children and families. The event also incorporates spaces dedicated to comic art, digital literature, poetry, narrative fiction, music, and exchanges between creators, featuring publishing presentations and debates on cultural and educational topics.

The fair’s social outreach extends beyond its main venues through a parallel program that includes activities in hospitals, children’s homes, centers for the elderly, and correctional facilities, alongside book sales and presentations.
