Its director and actor, Omar Ali, said the film “treats certain matters in a very special way; I would describe it as historical fiction, a reflection on specific historical events in Cuba.”
This first work is “simple and human; it does not aim to be a great film, as the greatness lies in what certain generations achieved in our lives and in the tasks that fall to us now.”
Producer Inti Herrera, cinematographer Alexander Gonzalez, and actor Andros Perugorria also participated.
The film will be screened again at Yara movie theater on October 10 to celebrate Cuban Culture Day and the 50th anniversary of the Culture Ministry.
