The information, initially released by the news portal UOL and confirmed by the newspaper *Folha de S.Paulo*, prompted a criminal complaint filed with the PF by Federal Deputy Lindbergh Farias of the Workers’ Party; he called for an investigation into the presidential candidate and for his inclusion in “Operation No Discount” (*Operación Sin Descuento*).
According to the reports, the emails indicate that an account identified under Flavio Bolsonaro’s name was linked to the same banking access profile associated with lawyer and businessman Willer Tomaz.
Tomaz is being investigated as part of “Operation No Discount,” which is probing a scheme involving unauthorized membership fee deductions from retirement and pension payments made by the National Social Security Institute (INSS).
One of the emails, sent in May 2025 by a Tomaz employee to Santander Bank, requested the removal of the senator’s link to an account associated with Alcazar Holdings—a company based on the Portuguese island of Madeira in which the lawyer is a partner.
In his complaint, Lindbergh asked the PF to investigate a potential financial connection between Flavio Bolsonaro and the economic structure investigators attribute to Tomaz.
The senator’s press office denied that he had ever held a bank account where the primary user was Tomaz or any of his companies; it dismissed the reports as false and maintained that their release during the election period was intended to damage his candidacy.
