MAS legislator repudiates support by Bolivian gov't to US plans
La Paz, Apr 3 (Prensa Latina) Sonia Brito, legislator of the Movement towards Socialism (MAS), criticized the support by the de facto government of Bolivia to the US claims to intervene in Venezuela.
Brito assured on Thursday that Foreign Minister Karen Longaric lacks the legality and legitimacy to support coups d'état and interventions in Venezuela on behalf of Bolivia.
The MAS member said Longaric, on Twitter, to better deal with the repatriation of a group of Bolivians on the borders with Chile.
In Huara, a Chilean town adjacent to Bolivia, about 307 Bolivians, included five pregnant women and several children, remain in precarious conditions waiting to enter the country, a right denied by the de facto government so far, due to the closure of borders to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
Brito demanded Longaric not to interfere in the Venezuelan internal politics.
On Thursday morning, former Bolivian President Evo Morales (2006-2019) condemned the possible mobilization of US vessels off the coasts of Venezuela under the pretext of intensifying actions against drug trafficking.
