Milan: La Scala Theater to reopen in July
Rome, June 30 (Prensa Latina) La Scala Theater in Milan will reopen its doors from July 6 to 15 for the presentation of four concerts with an audience limited to 600 seats, in keeping with the anti-Covid-19 provisions.
In a virtual press briefing, the superintendent of prestigious cultural center, Dominique Meyer, said it is time to listen to live-music again in the theater for many music lovers, in a designed space to host 2030 people.
Meyer said these four concerts will not interfere in the regular restart of cultural activities slated for September, with a previous maintenance work.
The concerts will be extended, without stopping, for 65 minutes and in accordance with the health and safety guidelines established for the operation of the theater, while the bar and cloakroom of this center will be kept closed.
On the other hand, Meyer announced the concerts will be live-broadcast on internet, taking into account the small number of people in the room and with the intention of achieving a worldwide presence.
