DPRK reiterates no plans for talk with US
Pyongyang, Jul 7 (Prensa Latina) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) reiterated on Tuesday the unlikelihood of holding talks with the United States.
According to the statement released by Kwon Jong Gun, Director-General of the Department of U.S. Affairs of the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, South Korea's meddling, which insists on playing the role of intermediaries in the talks between Pyongyang and Washington, worsens more its relations with the DPRK.
He gave as an example that the South Korean Unification Ministry reiterated on Monday Korea's disposition to favor peace talks in the Korean peninsula.
Kwon recalled that DPRK's First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Choe Son Hui, denied on Saturday rumors of a possible summit meeting between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump.
