Caracas, Nov 14 (Prensa Latina) The Council of Electoral Experts of Latin America (CEELA) Saturday continued its work of verifying every aspect of Venezuela´s election system, in view of next december 6´s legislative elections. The National Electoral Council (NEC) and CEELA agreed this week to send an accompanying mission to the elections to renew the National Assembly.
CEELA´s President Nicanor Moscoso considered the voting system implemented by NEC, the high training of its personnel and the high organizational level in each stage of the chronogram as extraordinary.
He explained the observers will be involved in the 17 audits to the Venezuela´s election process, as well as in the voting drill slated for Sunday, November 15.
CEELA's Technical Chief Guillermo Reyes highlighted the high degree of reliability of technological solution for next elections; 'They provide the voter with the peace of mind that his vote will be validated and respected', he said.
