India and United Arab Emirates discuss strategic association
27 de noviembre de 2020, 13:44New Delhi, Nov 27 (Prensa Latina) India and the United Arab Emirates discussed their strategic partnership, including cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, infrastructure, energy, food security and defense, was disclosed today in this capital.
This happened during a meeting between Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and his counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, broadcast by All India Radio.
Jaishankar, who is visiting the United Arab Emirates for two days, told his counterpart about India's progress in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic on the health and economic fronts and both discussed regional and international developments.
The Indian Foreign Minister is touring Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and the Seychelles.
In his trip to the latter country starting tomorrow, the Indian foreign minister will visit newly elected President Wavel Ramkalawan, to present him with greetings from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He will also analyze there the priorities of the new government and the ways to continue strengthening bilateral relations, as well as bilateral consultations with the new Foreign Affairs and Tourism Minister, Sylvestre Radegonde.
