Ecuador to receive one million Sinovac vaccines to fight Covid-19

Quito, Apr 4 (Prensa Latina) Ecuador confirmed it will be getting the first batch on Wednesday 7 from a total of one million of the China made Sinovac vaccine (split into two batches) to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. This country's total confirmed cases reached 333,175, the Presidency´s General Secretariat of Communication reported

According to the information, the first batch with 300,000 vaccine doses is expected to arrive on Wednesday, April 7, while the second one (700,000) will arrive on Saturday, April 10.

Ecuadorian Ambassador to Beijing Carlos Larrea, along with Sinovac personnel, checked the two cargoes to the airport warehouses for its subsequent departure to the South American nation.

‘Good news for our country! The first batch of Sinovac vaccines has been shipped from China,’ Ecuadorian President Lenín Moreno live-tweeted.
