US special envoy flies to China, S Korea for climate change talks

Washington, Apr 14 (Prensa Latina) The United States special envoy for Climate, John Kerry, is flying to China and South Korea this week for talks on global climate change, the US Department of State announced on Wednesday.

Press reports noted that Kerry’s visit to China will be the first by a top Biden’s administration official.

Despite differences between the two nations (US and China), President Xi Jinping is one of the 40 leaders invited to the climate change summit called by Joe Biden.
